Join us for one of our most exciting spring traditions — the Annual Aquatic Easter Egg Hunt! Participants will splash, swim, and search for eggs in the pool for a fun and unique holiday experience.
We are proud to offer a Sensory Hour for all ages from 11:00 AM–12:00 PM, designed to provide a comfortable and inclusive environment for individuals and families who benefit from a quieter, less crowded experience.
Ages 3–5: 12:30 PM–1:00 PM
Ages 6–9: 1:30 PM–2:00 PM
Ages 10–12: 2:30 PM–3:00 PM
Children will swim to collect eggs, so swimsuits are required.
Important: Parents or guardians must be in the water with children under age 5.
Daily entry fee to the Pavilion applies

Join us for the Ed Davis Easter Egg Hunt on April 4th at 4:00 PM at Boston Community Park. This free community event promises an afternoon of family fun and springtime excitement.
Children will have the chance to search for up to 5,000 hidden eggs, and attendees can enjoy raffles for toys, Easter baskets, and even bicycles throughout the event.
This event is proudly presented in partnership with St. Paul Lodge #11, Queen Vashti #37, and the Georgetown Police Department.

Join us for a fun-filled morning at our annual Paws in the Park Easter Egg Hunt on April 4, 2026, from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM at Scott County Park! This exciting event invites dogs and their owners to celebrate the season together with a special Easter egg hunt designed just for our four-legged friends. Dogs will search for treat-filled eggs, enjoy the chance to win prizes, and pose for photos with the Easter Bunny.

Following the Hunt: Raffles begin
Guests can also participate in a raffle for additional prizes. Raffle tickets are available for $5 and may be purchased at the Humane Society between March 30 and April 4. The raffle winner will be announced during the event.
This event is presented in partnership with the Scott County Humane Society, supporting community programs that benefit local pets and families.

Join us for a free evening under the stars at Scott County Community Park! Night at the Park is a fun and educational stargazing event where attendees can explore the night sky and learn more about astronomy.
Throughout the evening, interactive stations will be set up to help visitors learn about constellations, planets, and other fascinating parts of the night sky. Guests are encouraged to bring their own telescopes if they have one, but it’s not required—there will be plenty to see and learn for everyone.
GSC Friends of the Park will also be on-site selling concessions, so be sure to grab a snack while enjoying the evening.

Join us for a tropical day of fun at Aloha Summer Fest at the Suffoletta Family Aquatic Center on June 12, 2026! This family-friendly event will feature exciting games and activities throughout the day, including hula hoop contests, limbo, coconut bowling, water balloon tosses, relay races, duck races, pool volleyball, and more. Guests can also enjoy pictures with characters and finish the evening with a special outdoor showing of Lilo & Stitch under the stars.

Join us for the Longest Day of Play on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 9:00AM–6:30PM at Charles Brooking Park! This FREE community event is packed with fun for all ages, featuring games, recreation activities, food, music, and family-friendly entertainment throughout the day.
Participants can enjoy activities including tennis, pickleball, disk golf, fishing, bingo, water games, kickball, basketball, and more. Guests who participate in five or more activities will receive a free event t-shirt while supplies last.
We’re excited to welcome Trindy’s Food Truck and The Pink Clawed Co., serving dirty sodas, cotton candy, and more sweet treats throughout the event. Chick-fil-A will also be providing free cookies for attendees.
Bring your friends, family, lawn chairs, and your sense of adventure as we celebrate a full day of play, community connection, and summer fun. A finalized schedule of activities and entertainment will be released soon.

Activities will begin at 8:00pm and the screening will begin around dark each night.
The Park N’ Rec Summer Series is back with a summer full of FREE family fun throughout Georgetown-Scott County! Join Georgetown-Scott County Parks & Recreation at local parks for themed afternoons filled with activities, games, community partnerships, treats, and exciting experiences for all ages.
Each event takes place from 12:00–4:00 PM and offers a unique theme designed to bring families and the community together throughout the summer season.

Paws in the Pool is a pool party for your pooch! There are two separate swimming times for dogs below 40 lbs. and dogs above 40 lbs. Small dogs are allowed at the large dog event at the owner’s discretion. Paws in the Pool is held in September on the Sunday of Festival of the Horse, after the Blessing of the Animals. Additional rules apply during this event and a registration form has to be completed prior to the event. Thrilled to Give is a community event held downtown each year. It’s purpose is to raise donations for the AMEN House through canned goods donations. Leading up to Thrilled to Give is Thriller Zombie School which teaches participants in the Thrilled to Give parade the dance steps to the “Thriller” song.
