Break out your festive tubes and sunscreen for a relaxing float along Kentucky’s loveliest and longest creeks. This family-friendly event includes music, food, prizes and an opportunity to learn about your local waterways. Registration is typically in July and the event is typically in August. Pre-registrants receive a discounted float rate. This event is at Peninsula Park – Near 101 Payne Ave, Georgetown, KY.

Movies in the parks is a community event that offers the residents and visitors of Scott County and the surrounding counties the opportunity to gather together, experience the park, and enjoy arts and culture in an outdoor environment. Activities will begin at 8:00pm and the screening will begin around dark each night.
Tricks & Treats is a special event offered in October. There are games, food, dancing, prizes, and costume contest.

Paws in the Pool is a pool party for your pooch! There are two separate swimming times for dogs below 40 lbs. and dogs above 40 lbs. Small dogs are allowed at the large dog event at the owner’s discretion. Paws in the Pool is held in September on the Sunday of Festival of the Horse, after the Blessing of the Animals. Additional rules apply during this event and a registration form has to be completed prior to the event. The Haunted Swamp is a fun Halloween-themed event for families and children. Prepare for a spooky boat ride through our haunted swamp and play games for prizes and candy while you wait. Thrilled to Give is a community event held downtown each year. It’s purpose is to raise donations for the AMEN House through canned goods donations. Leading up to Thrilled to Give is Thriller Zombie School which teaches participants in the Thrilled to Give parade the dance steps to the “Thriller” song. Breakfast with Santa is a special event to give children an opportunity to have breakfast with Santa. For more details contact the Pavilion at 502-863-7865. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and visit our Calendar of Events often to event dates and times.
You got this! Work towards a big goal by swimming the length of a body of water. Past events were “Swim the English Channel” and “Swim the Elkhorn Creek”. Swimmers will have a particular time period to accomplish the goal. Register at the front desk or over the phone. This event is free with admission to the Pavilion. Once you are registered, your game piece will appear near the tracking chart. As you complete laps, move your piece across the chart to show your progress. Complete the challenge for prizes and swag! This event uses the honor system. Swim the …. is typically scheduled after the new year.
