Cardio Equipment Training

Are you intimidated by the cardio machines in the fitness area?  If you are 16 or older, let this class orient you to the proper techniques for using the equipment.  A personal trainer will be going over the BASICS of how to use each machine safely.

Ignition is a high intensity interval training that uses relatively short, high intensity cardiovascular intervals that are alternated with less intense active recovery intervals of strength exercise. The focus is on integration, rather than isolated single joint exercise and introduces multi-joint movement that have a high transfer into activities of daily living and sports performance.

Designed exclusively for older adults who want to improve their strength, flexibility, balance and endurance.

Silver Sneakers® Cardio Circuit

Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a stan & ding circuit workout. Upper body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support, stretching and relaxation exercises.

Muscle Mayhem

A HIIT workout is a high-intensity interval training approach to fitness, a cardio-oriented strategy that delivers maximum results in condensed amounts of time. Essentially, a high-intensity workout consists of periods of maximum-intensity exercise, followed by brief periods of low-intensity exercise, or rest.

Zumba

Zumba is an aerobic fitness program featuring movements inspired by various styles of Latin American dance. Zumba features high- and low-intensity intervals that help improve cardiovascular fitness while also enhancing balance, coordination, agility, and to some degree, strength, through the application of beginner-accessible choreography.
