Brooking Park
Park Information
Brooking Park has something for everyone. Brooking Park is located across from the Scott County High School complex. This large recreational area sits on 91.2 acres. It is one of the largest park areas in the county and is well suited to host the Scott County Fair as well as tractor pulls. There are two barns that are ideal for horse and cattle shows.
Brooking Park Concession Building
This multi-purpose building is perfect for large meetings and events. The Brooking Park Concession Building has heating and air conditioning and can be rented year round. It has a large multipurpose room, kitchen / concession area and 2 bathrooms.
Outdoor Facilities
The outdoor facilities are a popular site for team sports competition including baseball and tennis. The park has 2 major league baseball fields, 1 multi sport field, 2 softball field, 6 tennis courts (4 lined for pickleball usage), a playground, 1 bathroom building and 2 basketball courts, all of which are lighted. There are also two barns (1 enclosed and 1 partially enclosed) which are ideal for horse and cattle shows, a lighted horse show ring, and 3 shelters. These facilities can be rented for special tournaments and events.
In addition, the park also has a stocked fishing pond, 2 gazebos, tractor pull track, and the Mollie Graves Walking/Running Track (1.2 miles).
Directions
How to Get There: From I-75 N, take exit 125 for US-460 toward Georgetown / Paris. Turn Left at US-460 W / Paris Rd / Paris Pike and continue to follow US-460 W. Turn right at N Broadway Street. Continue onto Cincinnati Rd/ US 25. Turn left at Scott County Park Rd. Take 2nd left to stay on Scott County Park Road. Brookings Park will be on the left.
