Registration for Ag-Exploration Camp

The Ag-Exploration Camp is a 2 day summer camp co-sponsored by Georgetown-Scott County Parks & Recreation, Ed Davis Community Inc., and Scott County Cooperative Extension Service. The camp is intended for children ages 14-18. This camp is a spin-off of the Ed Davis Farm Camp and is intended to give young men and women who are interested in pursuing a careen in agriculture and opportunity to view and experience various careers in agriculture so that they might define a career choice. Campers will spend the 2 days of camp learning about farming techniques, and career options in agriculture. Campers will visit in the University of Kentucky Dairy Farm, the Thoroughbred Training Center, The Kentucky State University Research Farm, and the Kentucky State University Aquaculture Center, and an observation experience with a local farrier.
