NEW GUIDELINES WERE RELEASED ON 5/22/2020 REGARDING YOUTH SPORTS AND DAY CAMPS. WE WILL BE REVIEWING THESE GUIDELINES THIS WEEKEND TO DETERMINE UPDATES TO OUR REOPENING PLAN. WE WILL ANNOUNCE ANY CHANGES NEXT WEEK.

NOTICE: Concerning COVID-19
In an abundance of precaution and after consulting with County Officials, City Officials, Emergency Management personnel, and Wedco Health Department, for the safety of our residents and park patrons, we have made the following decisions.
Parks Youth, Adult Sports and Recreation Programs: We are postponing all youth and adult sports, tournaments, travel leagues, park recreation programs, and organized use of our parks and sports facilities until further notice. We will re-evaluate the situation concerning COVID-19 at a later date. We hope to start the spring sports season later this spring, however we will make that decision at a later date. As this situation evolves, we will provide updates when we have new information.
Concessions Building / Shelter Rentals / Ed Davis Learning Center Rentals: Starting Monday, March 16, We are canceling and will attempt to reschedule all concessions / shelter rentals at parks until further notice.
Pavilion Recreation Center / Ed Davis Learning Center: At 2:00 pm today, March 13, 2020, all parks facilities will close. All programs, activities, etc. will be postponed until further notice, this could change as this situation evolves. Please use common sense, wash hands frequently and perform social distancing as best as possible.
Parks in General: General park hours and operations will remain the same and remain open as long as the public is practicing the CDC’s recommendations for utilizing open space. Please utilize walking trails and open spaces only. All park amenities such as shelters, sports fields, playgrounds, basketball courts are closed. Parks should only be passive recreation use, however this could change if the situation worsens. Organized usage of sports fields is cancelled until further notice. Additionally, we recommend that use of our parks should be done by groups of less than 10 people together. Please use extra caution, follow CDC guidelines on washing hands, social distancing, and other precautionary measures. If you are sick and not feeling well, please stay home.
